Brawly first battle team
| Pokémon | Level | Moves in this battle |
|---|---|---|
| Machop | Lv. 16 | Karate Chop · Low Kick · Seismic Toss · Bulk Up |
| Meditite | Lv. 16 | Focus Punch · Light Screen · Reflect · Bulk Up |
| Makuhita | Lv. 19 | Arm Thrust · Vital Throw · Focus Punch · Bulk Up |
How to beat Brawly
- Flying and Psychic pressure are the cleanest answers to the Fighting core.
- Do not give Bulk Up users free turns; focus one target instead of spreading damage.
- Meditite can deploy both screens, so physical-only and special-only teams may need extra turns.
Brawly rematch team
Use the second-floor Pokémon Center rematch counter after earning the badge. The roster is substantially stronger than the story fight.

Before entering the Gym
- Heal, save, and confirm the controller is responding before speaking to the leader.
- Carry status recovery rather than relying on a single uninterrupted sweep.
- Keep one backup attacker outside the leader’s primary type matchup.
